''Misleading Rhetoric'' The real Enemy Of UK's Green Ambitions.

George Osborne, enemy of the green movement?

''Misleading Rhetoric with no factual basis'' was how Martin Harper discribed George Osborne's statement ''that wildlife protection rules were placing ridiculous costs on British businesses''. It was Mr Osborne that commisioned the report and yet again shows that Geoege Osborne and the coalition government as a whole are fast becoming enemies of the green movement.

With 800 new jobs being created in Scotland within the renewable energy sector, the Governments uncerntainty and dithering over investing in green energy are placing potential UK jobs at risk, as other countries are winning the race and contracts, the UK is investing in and relying on dying industires like oil and nuclear and costly energy like gas.

With the new budget being described by green groups as ''a polluters charter'', yet again we see more examples of a government who attempted to dettoxify themselves by declaring they wanted to be ''the greenest government ever'' moving in completely the opposite direction and totally out of touch with other countries and their green credentials.
