Meet your MP to push for bold, practical action on climate change.

How it works

Voters are meeting with their MPs, either at Parliament in London on Wednesday 9 July, or in their constituencies later in the summer.

What we're asking for

A busy weather icon with sun, cloud and lightning

Action on climate

In the UK and internationally.

Proper ocean protection

Proper ocean protection

Protect 30% of the oceans by 2030.

Global plastics treaty

Global plastics treaty

A strong treaty that tackles the root cause.

Why now?

Climate change is on the agenda, but politicians aren’t hearing from us enough. With shifting political tides and narrow majorities, this is the moment to make our voices heard.

You don’t have to do this alone!

Team up with like-minded people nearby, and pressure your MP together.

Can’t see a team in your area? Why not organise your own?

Most of the meetings will happen on Wednesday 9 July 2025 in London, as part of The Climate Coalition’s Mass Lobby.

Not available on 9th July? No problem! Greenpeace volunteers will also be meeting with their MPs in constituencies later in the summer.

Sign up for more details on what’s happening in your area.

Yes! There will be a distributed Mass Lobby later in the summer where constituents will be meeting with MPs in their local area.

And if you’re unable to physically attend a meeting full stop, your local organiser will be collecting messages from constituents to deliver to your MP, so you can make your voice heard!

We can’t pay for everyone’s travel, but finances absolutely shouldn’t be a barrier to getting involved.

If having your travel expenses covered will mean you’re able to take part, please let us know when you speak to us after completing the sign up form.

We can offer a free overnight stay at our workshop space at Canonbury Villas in Islington, London – just bring a sleeping bag if you can, and bear in mind that this is basic shared accommodation.

If you need a different type of accommodation for accessibility reasons, or support with care giving or other access needs, let us know and we’ll do our best to help.

Fill in the sign up form and we’ll be in touch. If you tell us you’re able to organise an MP meeting, we’ll give you a call to talk through your next steps and answer any questions you have.

If you can’t commit to organising but you’re happy to attend a meeting with your MP, we’ll  match you up with your local organiser (if one steps up!).

Yes, please do! There are three levels of commitment for organisers:

  • Level 1: A group that meets their MP and presents demands.
  • Level 2: Brings a broad range of voices into the conversation (e.g. schools, businesses, NHS workers).
  • Level 3: Develops a long-term plan to influence their MP with local networking and power-mapping.

There’s lots of support on offer, so don’t worry if you haven’t done anything like this before.

Don’t worry! You don’t need to be a campaigner, or to have met your MP before, or have even spoken about climate or nature.

We can provide support through training sessions, a workbook, and one-on-one contact with a support team member.

At the Mass Lobby our demands will cover three key areas:

  • Action on climate in the UK and internationally.
  • Proper ocean protection, protecting 30% of the oceans by 2030.
  • A strong Global Plastics Treaty that tackles the root cause of the plastic crisis.

Each of these areas have specific demands. For example, when it comes to action on climate, we’re asking MPs to stop new oil and gas fields like Rosebank and Jackdaw and oppose airport expansion.

When you sign up, we’ll provide you with all the information you need for a successful meeting with your MP.
