We’re looking for young people (aged 0-17) to help us spread the word about the problem of plastic pollution.

This year, governments around the world are negotiating a UN Global Plastics Treaty, which will limit plastic production and use.

We need your creative eye to produce a design that illustrates the issue and gets people talking.

The only rule is there are no rules. You can use pictures or words or patterns or collages or cut outs from magazines and newspapers. Paints, crayons, pens, pencils, potato prints – anything goes.

There are three age categories:

  • 0-7
  • 8-11
  • 12-17

So from preschool Picassos to teenage tailors, everyone is welcome!

To enter, parents, carers or teachers simply need to upload a photo of the design. Our t-shirt magicians will have the winning designs ready to purchase in April – and we’ll send the winners their very own t-shirt to wear with pride.

And don’t worry – all our t-shirts are printed on organic cotton, made without hazardous chemicals and printed to order, so there’s no waste.

Feeling inspired?

Start doodling and submit your design by Sunday 17th March.

Adults, show your young people this design brief to get them fired up:

What’s the competition?

We’re looking for a t-shirt design that will make people stop in the street and feel inspired to take action against plastic pollution. For your design, we want you to draw inspiration from our plastics campaign. You might want to create a design that encourages recycling or a design that showcases the incredible ocean wildlife that needs to be protected from plastic. The choice is entirely yours.

What could I win?

If your entry is chosen you’ll win a t-shirt with your design on. Your t-shirt will also be available to buy from our webshop, inspiring others and bringing awareness to our plastics campaign.

What are the rules?

The only rule is there are no rules! You can use pictures or words or patterns or collages or cut outs from magazines and newspapers. Paints, crayons, pens, pencils, potato prints – anything goes.

How do I submit my entry?

Ask an adult to take a picture and upload it onto our website, alongside your name and a contact email address.

When will I find out if I’ve won?

You need to submit your entry by Sunday 17th March. We’ll then shortlist the entries, the public will vote on the winners and we will email the person who submitted your entry in early April. Unfortunately due to a high number of submissions we will not be able to email everybody who entered. So please keep an eye out on our socials for the winners announcement and we will individually contact the winners. And we’ll then get your t-shirt made and in the post to you.
