Extreme weather is no longer a distant threat. This summer, wildfires, extreme heat and drought have threatened homes, health and public services across the UK.
Scientists are clear: burning fossil fuels is making these events more frequent and more severe. Yet Shell continues to make billions while expanding oil and gas production.
Shell is also backing the huge Rosebank oil field and seeking approval for the Jackdaw gas field.
Opening up more oil and gas would take us in exactly the wrong direction.
Together, we can expose Shell’s role in the climate crisis and pressure the government to stop Rosebank and Jackdaw and accelerate the shift to renewable energy.
