Accounts Officer

Greenpeace has around 200,000 supporters in the UK and is entirely funded by their subscriptions and donations from the general public. Those funds then get used to back a wide range of activities. That's why, standing at the heart of the organisation and keeping tight control over all money in and out, finance plays a crucial role in striving towards our goal: to ensure the ability of the earth to nurture life in all its diversity.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll be responsible for maintaining records, processing income, managing payroll and helping oversee our financial assets. With experience in a similar role, you understand computerised accounting packages, running payroll and handling cash. You're organised and accurate, and wholeheartedly support our aims and beliefs. The role is currently 37.5 hours per week although we will consider someone working 30 hours.
