Job vacancy: Temporary Direct Marketing Executive

Fundraising is the lifeblood of Greenpeace. Our campaigns to save the natural environment are wholly funded by the donations of our supporters. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated Direct Marketing Executive to implement our direct marketing campaigns to existing supporters

You will be responsible for implementing a range of creative direct marketing campaigns to maximise the potential of our existing donors. These campaigns range from cash mail, upgrade mail, upgrade phone, developing retention materials and online asks. In addition, you will use your sound understanding of the importance of data capture and analysis to review campaigns and improve their effectiveness.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Minimum one year's experience using direct marketing techniques. Ideally you will have experience of initiating and implementing a pressured supporter development programme using a range of media including telephone, mail and email
  • Experience of working to individual project budgets and monitoring costs
  • Understanding of database marketing
  • Good understanding of the creative process gained through the experience of evaluating and amending direct marketing copy and creative/design work
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and able to demonstrate diplomacy
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure
