Boulder draw terms and conditions

  1. This ‘name on a boulder’ draw is promoted by Greenpeace Limited, private limited company, company number 01314381, with our registered office at Canonbury Villas, Islington, London, N1 2PN (‘Greenpeace’, we, us, our’).
  2. This draw is open to residents of the UK over the age of 18
  3. Entries to the draw end on the 24th August at 08.59 am but donations are still accepted after this date.
  4. Donating to the fundraising email will constitute as entry to the draw unless you notify us otherwise by emailing supporter services supporter.uk@greenpeace.org
  5. Donating to the fundraising email will constitute acceptance of these terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”).
  6. To be entered into the draw you must donate, no other method of entry will be accepted.
  7. There is no maximum number of entries per person.
  8. The five winners will be chosen by a random draw at Greenpeace UK. Those shortlisted will be informed by phone or email on the 23rd August.
  9. For practical reasons, we will only write first names limited to 35 characters for the winning names.
  10. In the event that, for reasons beyond Greenpeace UK’s reasonable control and not related to the winner, Greenpeace UK is unable to write names on the boulders as described in these Terms and Conditions, Greenpeace UK reserves the right to keep the total donation amount.
  11. The provision of the draw does not imply endorsement by Greenpeace UK of any third-party supplier of the draw
  12. By taking part in the draw, you hereby consent to a dialogue with Greenpeace UK by email to ascertain whether you would prefer to remain anonymous, or if you are happy for your name to appear in any future materials. If you haven’t responded to contact from GPUK within 4 hours, we reserve the right to re-draw and in these circumstances your prize and entry to the draw will be voided.
  13. You hereby represent and warrant that any use of your name or other related materials by or on behalf of Greenpeace, comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations and does not infringe or otherwise violate the intellectual property or other rights of any third party.
  14. By entering you agree that Greenpeace UK may use your personal data for the purposes of administering the boulder name draw. Your personal data will be held in accordance with Greenpeace UK’s Privacy Policy in place.
  15. All Greenpeace UK’s decisions in relation to the boulder name draw are final in all matters and Greenpeace UK will not enter into any correspondence with participants on the boulder name draw other than the boulder name draw winners who submitted the entry.
  16. These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to hear any dispute or claim arising in association with the name on a boulder draw or these Terms and Conditions.
