By entering this free draw you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

  1. This Free draw is promoted by Greenpeace UK Limited, a Private Limited Company by guarantee registered in the United Kingdom (02463348) with registered office at Canonbury Villas, Islington, London, N1 2PN (‘Greenpeace’, we, us, our’). This Free draw is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook.
  2. Entry into the Free draw will constitute acceptance of these terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”).
  3. Entry to the Free draw is free; no purchase necessary.
  4. Free draw participants must be resident in UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man to enter. Employees of Greenpeace or any of its subsidiary or affiliated companies and anyone otherwise connected with operation or fulfilment of the Free draw are not eligible to take part.
  5. To enter, you must sign Greenpeace UK’s ‘ban supertrawlers’ petition before the closing date of midnight Sunday 21st February 2021. No other method of entry will be accepted.
  6. You may only make a maximum of one entry.
  7. The winner will be drawn at random under supervision by 5pm 22nd February 2021. The winner will be notified no later than 6pm 22nd February 2021 by direct Facebook message. If a winner refuses, or is non contactable (defined as not having responded within 48 hours of message), Greenpeace reserves the right to award the prize to another participant.
  8. The date of the action may change, but in the event that we have not made contact with the winner within 72 hours of the planned date of the action, we reserve the right to draw a secondary, tertiary etc. winner sequentially every 24 hours until a winner has claimed this opportunity.
  9. The opportunity is as stated and is non-exchangeable and non-transferable.
  10. In the event that, for reasons beyond Greenpeace UK’s reasonable control and not related to the winner, Greenpeace UK is unable to award the prize as described in these Terms and Conditions, Greenpeace UK reserves the right to make this opportunity unavailable.
  11. The provision of the opportunity does not imply endorsement by Greenpeace UK of any third-party supplier of the opportunity or any third parties concerned in any way with the Free draw.
  12. By signing the petition and for the winner of the free draw only, you hereby consent to a dialogue with Greenpeace UK on Facebook to ascertain whether you would prefer to remain anonymous, or if you are happy for your name on the boulder to appear in any future materials.
  13. You hereby represent and warrant that any use of such photograph or other related materials by or on behalf of Greenpeace, comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations and does not infringe or otherwise violate the intellectual property or other rights of any third party.
  14. By entering you agree that Greenpeace UK may use your personal data for the purposes of administering the Free draw and writing your name on a boulder. Your personal data will be held in accordance with Greenpeace UK’s Privacy Policy in place, see [Privacy policy]
  15. All Greenpeace UK’s decisions in relation to the Free draw are final in all matters and Greenpeace UK will not enter into any correspondence with participants other than the Free draw winner.
  16. These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to hear any dispute or claim arising in association with the Free draw or these Terms and Conditions.
